Sanyas Ashram Mumbai was established by Brahmleen 1008 Param Pujya Swami Akhilanand Giriji , in the year , 1959 The current head of the Ashram is 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Pujya Swami Shukdevanand Giriji . He is A realised Master , a Vedantin par excellence . He resides mostly in Mumbai Ashram , though he often visits the Uttarkashi Ashram , Himgiri Guha. The Uttarkashi Ashram is located in the pious and mystic region of Gangori amidst the mighty Himalayas, nestled next to the ASI river.

There is no better place than the Ashram for spiritual upliftment with its vast array of Vedantic classes, Discourses by learned mahatamas , Swadhyay etc . The main purpose of the Ashram is spreading Vedantic knowledge and giving ample opportunities to everyone for immersing and benefiting in the Spiritual World . Under the divine guidance of Pujya Swamiji , SAS Academy school is running successfully for the locals of Uttarkashi. It is envisaged as a holistic school catering not only to the scholastic development, but also moral and spiritual development of the child. Indeed the modern building ,amidst the mighty Himalayas, is a boon for these fortunate kids .

A Gaushala , is located in the Ashram . It’s a blessing for everyone to do darshans and worship Gaumata , in the midst of city life .
